Bankside and Southwark Walk

We did this one in two different days.  The first one was one night(Saturday, April 30) after we went to the Tate Modern.  We really wanted to go to the Tower Bridge, so we started walking and then realized we could use one of the walks to get over there.  It was fun, except for almost everything was closed since it was late.  Even two of the tube stations were closed due to construction.  So we walked a lot more than planned.  We (Kaylee, Scott, Molly, Laura, and me) all gave a group effort at leading.  It was cool to see this area late at night because of the Tower of London, London Bridge (which had pinkish red lights on it), and the Eye, and much more.

The second time, we decided to finish it up while we were waiting to go as a group to St. Paul's to do our tour.  We went and finished up this walk (Kaylee, Scott and I).  We saw the Globe Theater.  We had this guy take our picture and he was from America, studying in Scotland for the year though.  We then finished up the walk.  We saw a lot of good restaurants that we want to check out.  We also passed Borough Market that we want to come back for when they open. It's like a farmers market and looks like it'll be so good!  We did go to a restaurant named Amano Cafe, and I got a wrap.  It was so good and they toasted the outsides.  I had chicken, with lettuce, honey mustard, cheese, tomatoes, and a variety of vegies in it.  So good! I want to go back again!
